Ingredients

Stick pretzels

1 Red finger shaped dessert cake (two to a package) unwrap

and let dry out over night or put in freezer for 20 min.

2 Pieces of red licorice that you can peel

2 Red gummy lip candy

1 Piece of red licorice rope

2 Red cream-filled chewy candy tubes

Tube of red icing

1 Horn-shaped corn snack

Using red icing and tooth pick, color "horn" for stinger, set aside

Cut "peel" licorice into a 5" piece

Peel back 2" on both sides (1" in the middle will stay unpeeled)

Use toothpicks to poke a hole in one of the pointed ends of the gummy lips and insert a pretzel stick

The pretzel should stick out 1 1/2" from the lip, if not trim it

Place the licorice twist on the plate and put the cake on topSpread the licorice out to look like legs

Break a pretzel stick in half

Stick the pretzel into the back of the cake and put the stinger on it

Make sure the pretzel does not show, use the icing for glue

Use a toothpick to poke two holes for eyes and insert candy tubes

Using a toothpick poke two holes where the wings should go

Dab red icing on the ends of the pretzels in the gummy lips

Insert wings into holes and hold for 2 minutes

Serves 1

Better get a bug zapper!
